The They Were Here series is published periodically by the Society. Each volume features short biographies of Taylor Countians, some from pioneer days and others from more recent times. Volumes 1-20 are available for sale for $10 per volume or $140 for the complete set. The set is a great value – $60 less than what you would pay to buy the volumes individually!

Cash Writings of Taylor County Florida is a collection of newspaper articles and other manuscripts written by William Thomas Cash, Florida’s first State Librarian and a native Taylor Countian. An avid Florida historian, Cash wrote about regional history, prominent families from Taylor County, and the “old” North Florida culture we so dearly cherish.

The 2015 Historic Calendar is a hanging wall calendar featuring historic photographs from Taylor County history. Included are scenes from downtown Perry, Lake Bird, Steinhatchee, Carbur, Jabo Beach, Jug Island, the Perry Woman’s Club, and Athena. The Historical Society prints this calendar annually, with new pictures each year.
